Everything changes! Nothing stays the same:
The seasons, the weather, the moon, relationships, our moods, our life stages.
In yogic terms we call this impermanence.
Sometimes change feels welcome, even exciting, like a sweater on a cool fall day.
Other times, it can be difficult, unsettling, even dysregulating—like menopause, once called “the change of life.”
Our yoga practice teaches us to move through transitions with steadiness and grace. By connecting with our bodies and our breath, we create calm and regulate the nervous system, allowing for a release of anxiety and tension, and opening to ease and peace.
Spiritually speaking, in times of challenge change is the good news, as it reminds us: this too shall pass.
In times of joy, it is a reminder to be present and appreciate the precious gift of every breath!
As we shift into the fall season, I invite you to join us for our many yoga classes—
and embrace the wisdom that comes with change.
Please check out the new fall schedule for NEW yoga classes!
I hope to see you very soon at the Center.
Love and Practice Always,
Lisa
